Tzvia Hermann Female Serial Entrepreneur

Like many women and men out there, Tzvia had enough of unwanted embarrassing hair and had tried everything from waxing, tweezing, threading, tried every laser and over 20 IPL sessions to get rid of it. Tzvia Hermann is now, not only completely free of unwanted hair, but is a successful serial entrepreneur, mother of two children and a loving wife to co-owner Neil! Tzvia Hermann has turned her frustrating and painful experience into a business that will help others gain confidence they never thought possible.

From a young age Tzvia had entrepreneurship in her veins showing a keen interest in business. At age 6 she brought her father a purse full of change and when asked where she got the money from she explained how she sold left over balloons from one of her birthday parties.

Tzvia was inspired by her own mother Chana, a single mother of three girls, who managed to put herself through beauty school education and start her own beauty salon from a bedroom in their family home, which Chana later moved to a shopping centre. Tzvia’s mom, Chana would serve as a great role model in business as her passion for beauty and her nurturing personality left loyal customers refusing treatment from any other therapist but her. Tzvia was always amazed at how everything that her mom taught her was true in its essence. “If you look good, you feel good; when you feel good, you are more confident and can face the world and reach your goals. If my clients trust that I can help them look and feel amazing inside and out, they won’t want to go anywhere else.” said Chana.Tzvia Herman

Most days after school Tzvia spent many hours in her mother’s beauty salon learning all the tricks of the trade. Tzvia was qualified from experience from the age of 15 in everything from manicures and pedicures to facials and skin care regimes, often filling in for a therapist who ran late or called in sick. Tzvia developed her own love for the beauty industry.

After matriculating Tzvia moved to the UK where she lived in London and travelled for 9 years gaining life experience and dabbling in every profession imaginable. Tzvia worked as a restaurant host, bartender, receptionist, personal assistant, legal secretary while she studied law through UNISA and then even tried graphic/web designing for a publishing company. Tzvia even got experience as a recruiter for a recruitment agency and then spent a few years making incredible memories working as a fundraiser for a children’s charity.

During her time abroad Tzvia used to give herself mani’s and pedi’s and even waxed every inch of her body so that she could feel smooth and confident. During the years spent in London and travelling, she investigated various technologies and undertook many different laser treatments in the UK, USA, and other European countries. Tzvia searched for treatments that would truly deliver the results she so desperately desired and knew others would too. Unfortunately, she couldn’t find the solution. On return from the UK Tzvia brought along with her, her passion for beauty, technology, charity, design and her entrepreneurial desires. Although Tzvia has a love for business, her sense of community and charity work has always been strong. In 2008, Tzvia applied for a position as a fundraiser for a South African children’s charity called Afrika Tikkun. Her first two year back in South Africa were spent in early childhood development centres in Alex, Diepsloot and Orange Farm. The same year Tzvia started working for Afrika Tikkun, she met her now husband, Neil, and they started dating. As their relationship developed they soon realised their joint ambition for business.  Tzvia knew that at some point her love for charity work would need to become a hobby so that she can start a business and family of her own.
