The iLeadLAB initiatives, academic makerspaces focusing on technology and innovation, are operational across five learning centres in Southern Africa. These labs serve as a catalyst for students to adapt, innovate, and harness technology to create new knowledge.

The iLeadLABs not only serve as training facilities

A makerspace is a collaborative and creative workspace that provides individuals with the tools, resources and environment to design, prototype and create a variety of projects. It encourages hands-on learning, experimentation and innovation and are typically equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, robotics and coding, VR and drones.
The iLeadLAB is a pioneering initiative, a beacon for cultivating dynamic skills, nurturing leadership qualities and fostering innovative thinking among our students. It serves as a transformative platform where theoretical knowledge meets real-world application, preparing our students to thrive in an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing global landscape.
Through a blend of cutting-edge technology, hands-on experiential learning and mentorship opportunities, the iLeadLAB equips students with the practical skills, adaptability and forward-thinking mindset required to succeed in diverse professional environments.
